Puddleducks is a voluntary sector playgroup, carried by a yearly elected committee of active current and former parents who work in line with the guidelines of the Charity Commission.
Receiving funding from the Department of Education (CEA) is part of the Preschool Education Programme. Puddleducks is regularly benchmarked against the Curricular Guidance of Preschool Education. Our last inspection result was outstanding.
The Health and Social Service Care Board is the other regulator: the annual inspection is based on the Minimum Standard for Children under 12 document.
Puddleducks is member of the Early Years Organisation for Young Children. Its Early Years Specialist guides and helps us to further develop our high quality education, and to support us reaching the above mentioned government standards.
